PBS, often referred to as America’s Largest Classroom, is working with stations like Detroit Public Television to close the achievement gap. Studies demonstrate that PBS KIDS content prepares children from all backgrounds for success in school and career, and public media has become an especially important resource for low-income and under-served children without access to preschool.
Paula shared insights into PBS’ efforts to remain trusted, innovative and relevant amid a rapidly changing media environment. PBS reaches 82% of U.S. television households each year.
