Detroit Public Television, St. John Providence and the American Cancer Society hosted advanced screenings and discussions around the documentary, Cancer: The Emperor of All Maladies.
Cancer: The Emperor of All Maladies is presented by Ken Burns and directed by Barak Goodman. Based on the 2010 Pulitzer Prize-winning book The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer by Siddhartha Mukherjee, the series is the most comprehensive documentary on a single disease ever made.
