• School Closings - State schools slated to close for under performing may get a reprieve after Superintendent Brian Whiston proposes a "partnership agreement." The MiWeek team debates this new plan to keep the schools open. 

• State of Wayne County - Wayne County Executive Warren Evans gives his State of the County address and one of the major topics is the unfinished jail site. The MiWeek team talks about the proposals that are in play to develop the new jail.

• Affordable Care Act - The MiWeek team takes a closer look at the debate in Washington over the repeal and replacement of the Affordable Care Act.
