Last Updated by

Tonight on MiWeek:
SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATES' PROBE: A media investigation into the backgrounds of the 63 candidates running for the Detroit School Board reveals more than half have struggled with personal financial issues including bankruptcies, liens, and the loss of properties. The MiWeek team looks at whether this should matter to voters, how voters should choose, candidate endorsements, and the importance of the job.
PRESIDENTIAL RACE: As poll numbers fluctuate in the Presidential race, the MiWeek team discusses the impact polling and early voting results will have on the election.
OBAMACARE: Premium costs are rising next year under the Affordable Care Act, and some health insurers are pulling out of the marketplaces. The MiWeek team talks about the impact this will have on the presidential election, as well as on the people enrolled in the healthcare plan.
THE PALACE OF AUBURN HILLS: The Pistons make an offer that Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson refuses. Patterson turned down an offer by team owner Tom Gores to buy The Palace of Auburn Hills and lease it back to the Pistons. The MiWeek team debates whether the offer was a good one and whether this is yet another sign that the Pistons are headed to downtown Detroit very soon.
