Tonight on MiWeek:

  • Flint Water & Presidential Politics - GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump pays a visit to Flint, just as that city nears the one-year anniversary of having its water system reconnected to Detroit.  The MiWeek team talks about the status of the Flint water crisis, and also look at Trump's visit as well as other presidential politics, including Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton's health.
  • DPS Lawsuit - An unprecedented lawsuit is filed against the State of Michigan for Detroit children and families who claim the conditions in the state-controlled school district have denied them access to literacy, which they say is a constitutional right. The MiWeek team debates the validity of the lawsuit.
  • Headlines - The MiWeek team looks at some of this week's headlines, including announcements of a new housing development and a new hotel in Detroit, along with the new words being added to the Oxford English Dictionary.
