- DPS Lawsuit - An unprecedented lawsuit is filed against the State of Michigan for Detroit children and families who claim the conditions in the state-controlled school district have denied them access to literacy, which they say is a constitutional right. The MiWeek team debates the validity of the lawsuit.
- Headlines - The MiWeek team looks at some of this week's headlines, including announcements of a new housing development and a new hotel in Detroit, along with the new words being added to the Oxford English Dictionary.
