Summer Preparation

The weather is warming up and schools around Michigan are starting to wrap up the school year. The days are long, the weather warm, and kids are unscheduled and beginning to create trouble at home.

As a Mom of four, I’m very aware of long summer days can quickly go wrong. Take time to plan ahead to structure your summer for success. Keep your child engaged in learning activities over the summer, to limit summer learning loss. Keep kids physically active through both structured and unstructured play experiences.  Explore our great state of Michigan! Don’t forget to keep safety in mind as you explore with your children.

With some advance planning, you can help keep the lazy days of summer successful and fun!
