Detroit Parent Network and their Executive Director Sharlona Buckman are proud to celebrate 10 years of the agency’s dedication to parents and primary caregivers.

Detroit Parent Network works to improve parent involvement in education by offering workshops, practical tools, written materials and leadership development, all designed to build a constituency of powerful parents for change.

Their Project Graduation program is aimed at significantly increasing high school graduation as well as college enrollment by creating a supportive and knowledgeable family environment in Detroit.
