Uniting for Flint Kids / Russell Simmons on Flint / Gary Simmons Public Art Installation

Last Updated by American Black Journal Editor on

On the next American Black Journal, hip hop mogul and philanthropist Russell Simmons talks about the devastating impact of the lead-contaminated water on Flint residents and what he's doing to continue to draw attention to the crisis.  And, a group of Michigan professional women of color is raising money to help the children of Flint. We'll get details on their star-studded fundraiser.  Plus, an international artist creates a public work in Detroit that pays tribute to the city's rich musical history.
