7/17/16: United We Stand Sculpture / Black History Maker

Last Updated by American Black Journal Editor on

On the next American Black Journal, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History prepares to unveil a sculpture that will kick off a yearlong commemoration of the 1967 Detroit rebellion. We talk with the museum's CEO, Juanita Moore, about the significance of the artwork, and we hear from the artist, Charles McGee, in a video about his work. Plus, attorney Elliott Hall talks about breaking racial barriers at Ford Motor Company and his long career as an attorney, which included representing the Black Panther Party in the 1960s and '70s.
