Poverty, Prison & Delinquency / Earn + Learn Program
Last Updated by
On the next American Black Journal, we'll examine the connection between growing up poor and going to prison. Plus, we'll look at local efforts to reduce the pipeline to prison for juveniles and adults. Also, we'll learn about a program that prepares former prisoners, young minority males, and the chronically unemployed for the world of work. And, we'll have a special look at how a local man is using financial literacy as a means of breaking a cycle of poverty and violence.
