Detroit Entrepreneurs / 1963 Civil Rights March Banner

Last Updated by American Black Journal Editor on
On the next American Black Journal, Detroit has fast become one of the top cities for entrepreneurs to set up shop, especially minority business owners. We'll look at the support and assistance that is available for new and aspiring entrepreneurs in the city, and get some advice on how to maintain a thriving business.  Plus, a Detroit woman whose 1963 photo made her a civil rights icon, is now donating a precious piece of history to the new Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.
