Domestic violence is in the national spotlight as the NFL faces criticism about the way it handled the abuse case involving Baltimore Ravens runningback Ray Rice. Beth Morrison, President & CEO of HAVEN; Detroit Free Press Sports Columnist, Drew Sharp; and therapist and relationship expert, Dr. Lyn Lewis, join us to discuss the NFL's response to domestic abuse cases, and what we can do to address domestic abuse.
Plus, Bill Wenzell, Rashida Goudeaux, and LaTisha Ricks of Focus HOPE, join us to discuss the organization's upcoming event, "Eleanor's Walk for Hope." The walk raises money to benefit Focus: HOPE’s education, career training, food, and community development programs.
And Ken Coleman takes a look back at important moments in Detroit's black history. Episode 4301.
