Detroit Public Television took our American Black Journal/One Detroit Roadshow to the Brightmoor neighborhood at City Covenant Church. Hosts Stephen Henderson and Christy McDonald explored the topic of Education in Detroit by asking the provocative question, “Do we really care about our kids’ education?”
They explored critical topics like absenteeism, poverty, transportation and lack of charter school regulation with a powerful and esteemed panel of guests including:
