Local churches join in the effort to raise awareness about the number one killer of African-American women: heart disease. We'll talk about the devastating impact of heart disease in the black community and what can be done to reverse the alarming trend. Plus, there's a movement underway to encourage young girls of color to love the skin they're in. We'll talk with one of the founders of the "Pretty Brown Girl" doll, girls' club, and educational program. Ken Coleman shares important moments in Detroit's black history. Episode 4216.
