1/8/17: WGPR-TV Museum / Young Fathers Standing United (YFSU)

Last Updated by American Black Journal Editor on
Nat Morris

On the next American Black Journal, the historic achievements of the nation's first Black owned and operated television station are being celebrated in a new Detroit museum opening on Martin Luther King Day.  We'll get the details on the state-of-the-art museum dedicated to preserving the history of WGPR-TV 62 and other Black-owned media across the country. Plus, a local non-profit expands its efforts to support and educate Detroit-area fathers on how to better engage with their children.
