College Campus Racism Protests
Racial tension has erupted on college campuses across the nation after numerous reports of racist incidents. Locally, the University of Michigan is stepping out in front of the issue by creating a comprehensive plan to address diversity concerns and promote racial equity and inclusion on its campus.

Black Friday “Black Out On The Avenue”
Organizers of “The Blackout on The Avenue” are encouraging shoppers to spend their holiday money at minority-owned businesses in the Avenue of Fashion neighborhood. Vendors will offer a range of items, including clothing, shoes, art, and athletic wear.
